How We Founded Aixeos — And Why the Future of Value Creation Looks Different
For more than two decades, I worked as an M&A advisor focused on technology companies. I helped founders and investors shape equity stories, prepare for transactions, and unlock value long before a deal ever reached the market. Over the years I sold dozens of tech companies, sat at hundreds of negotiation tables, and learned how value is truly created — and how it is often lost.
During that same time, my co-founder Spyridon built and scaled companies in venture-building environments. He operated deep inside value-creation engines, saw what works and what consistently fails, and developed a strong view on how organizations need to be designed to unlock real growth. Long before the current AI wave, both of us advised machine-learning and AI-led companies and worked with teams trying to bring advanced technologies into commercial environments.
These experiences shaped our perspective on the industry. They also revealed a truth that became impossible to ignore: both the Private Equity playbook and the traditional M&A playbook have entered a structural shift.
Leverage, cheap debt, and multiple expansion no longer drive returns the way they once did. Classic operational excellence alone is not enough. And in M&A, many assumptions that worked for years — how value is priced, how readiness is assessed, how buyers evaluate future potential — no longer hold. The market has moved. Stakeholders have moved. Technology has pulled everything forward.
We reached a point where it was clear: Firms, founders, and funds need a new operating logic for value creation.
And that is why we founded Aixeos.
Our Starting Point: A Broken Model and a Huge Opportunity
In our work with tech companies and investors, we saw the same problem everywhere: value creation was fragmented, reactive, and inconsistent. The industry lacked a systematic way to identify value levers, quantify impact, and move from strategy into execution — especially at speed.
At the same time, AI was reaching maturity. Not the hype layer seen in headlines — but real, applicable capabilities that could augment decision-making, analyze complex value systems, improve processes, and accelerate change.
We realized that the consulting toolbox needed an upgrade.And the technology toolbox needed structure.
Aixeos was created to bridge both.
